The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs,Senator George Akume,fnim yesterday received a delegation party stalwarts from the Sankera axis of Zone A in Benue State under the aegis of SANKERA LIKEMINDS.
The team leader of the group, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Udende said the visit to Senator George Akume,fnim was to rub minds with the Hon. Minister on necessary considerations preparatory to effecting the right political leadership and direction in Benue State as 2023 political era is fast approaching.
The group members further assured the Hon. Minister of their followership, loyalty and support as build up to the 2023 political transition.
In his remarks, the Hon. Minister thanked members of the SANKERA LIKEMINDS and reemphasized his earlier resolve not to personally contest for any political position at the state level but commitment to ensuring that the right political leadership is put in place in 2023 for the Benue people to have a new lease of growth and development.
Members of the SANKERA LIKEMINDS present at the visit included the immediate past State House of Assembly Member representing Ukum state constituency, Rt. Hon. Paul Biam, Hon. Jonathan Agbidye of Katsina Ala East, Hon. Jacob Orban representing Loko state constituency, Hon. Donald Gbugho and Prince Solomon Wombo among other prominent sons of Sankera axis of Zone A in Benue State.
