The Dean of Student Affairs of the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State has died.
Dr. Shola Eshiobo was found dead in his office on Sunday.
It was gathered on Sunday evening in Benin, the Edo state capital, that the dean’s wife raised the alarm that her husband did not return home on Saturday evening, as he promised, while leaving for office on Saturday afternoon, to attend to some official matters.
Some family members and friends of the deceased went to the dean’s office yesterday morning, saw his vehicle at the car park, but he was found dead in his office.
The dean’s body was later deposited at an undisclosed morgue.
Spokesman of the institution Mustapha Oshiobugie who confirmed the incident, said it was shocking and least expected.
