Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a traditional ruler in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mohammed Dankawo.
Our correspondent gathered Dankawo, who is the Ardo Udege in the Udege Local Council Development Area of Nasarawa State, was abducted from his residence.

It was gathered the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N7m for his release.
But Nasarawa Commissioner of Police Bola Longe told The Nation the monarch was not abducted.
He said: “We are looking for him to arrest him. We are going to arrest him.
“We have arrested him before for giving kidnappers information.”
