Popular Nollywood actor and Instagram Comedian, Williams Uchemba has made lots of Nigerians shed tears of joy after he brought out a wretched family that has been living in a slum for thirteen years and built them a new beautiful house.
The actor took to his Instagram page on Thursday May 22nd to share a video showing himself and the poor family in the new house he build for them.
Williams had earlier shared photos of the poor family narrating how he discovered them living in heartbreaking condition right in the slum when he went to distribute Coronavirus palliatives.
A slum is a squalid and overcrowded urban street or district inhabited by very poor people. In Nigerian, it is popularly known as “Ghetto“.
According to the actor, what got his attention, was when he saw a little girl reading on a pavement and when he inquired to know where she lives, it was devastated to see the nature of their room.
As it can be seen on the photos, the little girl identified as Chiamaka, her sister, Chisom and their mother, Mrs. Chukwudi lived in what most Nigerians call “Batcher”, a house made of wood and covered with old dilapidated zinc roof and pieces of cartons. The family revealed that their slum home gets flooded each time it rains.
Moved with pity, Williams Uchemba left after distributing the palliatives and vowed to take the family out of the slum.
